Former Minister of Culture and Tourism, Senator Bello Jibril Gada has declared interest to aspire for the gubernatorial ticket of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto state.
Addressing his loyalists at his Sokoto residence at the weekend, he said three years was enough for the people of the state to know whether the Tambuwal-led government had performed or not.
According to him, the state was faced with a lot of problems, including acute shortage of water supply among others.He however, unveiled a four point agenda which he said was aimed at turning around the fortune of the state.They include agricultural reforms, local government reforms, education as well as youth and sports development.He said that being a recipient of national award and his conferment as Sarkin Noman Sarkin Musulmi, he has all it takes to turn around the fortune of agriculture in the state.
Similarly, the former Commissioner of Finance and Local Government, Alhaji Faruk Yabo also declared for the ticket and appointed the former General Manager of Rima Television, Wafee Suka as his Director General, Media.
